In 1888 Fritz Meyer opened a workshop Solothurn, about 35 kilometers north of Bern in Switzerland. During the following years the company grew out to be a renown manufacturer of movements and later also for their own watches. In the 50s and 60s Roamer was a premier producer of automatic watches. Since the new millennium Roamer is completely back to its roots: great watches that are fully made in Switzerland. Great quality for a great price, while respecting the tradition of Swiss watchmaking.
