Warranty
SeriousWatches is an authorised dealer of all the brands we stock, unless otherwise noted. In this day and age there are also many 'grey market dealers' that offer watches for low prices. What are the main benefits of buying from an authorised dealer? And more specifically, the warranty?
2 years warranty
In Europe, all businesses are legally obligated to offer 2 years warranty, with the exception of products that by their nature might not last 2 years (for example a leather strap - this will deteriorate during time). We oblige all consumer laws, so we offer 2 years warranty on all watches, no questions asked (with the sole exception of parts that by their nature may not last 2 years, like batteries and leather straps).
Service and parts
In the unfortunate event of a problem with your watch, you simply need to send it to us. We have access to the official service centers, where only original parts are used and the watchmakers and qualified and experienced with your type of watch. Not every watch movement is the same, so it's best if it's handled by people who know what they are doing. Also after your 2 years warranty you can come to us for service. Most service centers are located in our country, so usually the repair time is lower.
Laws and regulations
Europe differs from the rest of the world, as consumers get more protection with their purchases. We oblige all laws and regulations and sometimes go beyond them. One prime example is that we accept watches back, no questions asked, within 2 weeks after you've received it (as long as it is unworn with all tags and labels attached). Just let us know within 2 weeks and ship the watch back and you will get your money back within 48 hours on business days after we've received it in good order.
