BOLDR Globetrotter Meteorite Black

  • Free worldwide shipping

The BOLDR Globetrotter Meteorite Black is a tremendous GMT watch that is a great companion for all of your (international) adventures. Under the hood you'll find the Swiss Made ETA 2893-2 Elabore-grade automatic movement with independent adjustable GMT-hand. The movement will help you keep track of a second timezone, which is extremely useful when you're travelling, doing business or just to know what time it is for a friend or family member abroad.

The dial is made from genuine meteorite, extracted from fragments of the Muonionalusta Meteorite. This means that every dial is completely unique and the patterns, Widmanstatten patterns as they are officially called, differ per watch. All of the specifications of the watch are very fine and and high end: 200m water resistance, a ceramic bezel, sapphire glass (with an AR coating) and a custom moulded natural rubber strap with custom dive-extension buckle. The finishing level is, as you are used to with BOLDR, extremely fine.

The Globetrotter has phenomenal wrist presence with its 44mm diameter (excluding) case, but is still comfortable and stylish. A watch for every day that you won't want to take off!

SeriousWatches is an authorised dealer of BOLDR watches. This watch comes with a 2 year warranty and the BOLDR box. Worldwide shipping is free.

It is a real gem. Zelos' masterpiece. It was a gift to my wife. Her reaction was a surprise. Actually this shark stole her breath away. Thank you Zelos and Serious Watches! Mark, thx for the patience!

The pleasure of watching time pass

To call a refined, affordable and high quality dress watch a "child" is just the sort of understatement you would expect the Japanese to make. But there is nothing childlike about the Bambino, other than the sheer joy of watching the mechanism at work through its open heart. It remains Orient's most popular automatic by a wide margin, for reasons discussed in the many reviews available elsewhere. I would add one more line of praise to that long list: for all its fine qualities - it's just a watch. It doesn't attempt to dazzle you with a novel design homage to an obscure era you never knew - it won't help you navigate in the cockpit of a plane, dive to the bottom of the ocean or on the surface of the moon. It'll just tell the time, in a pleasing, elegant way - it's large size the sole nod to the half-century that has passed since its more traditionally sized predecessors. The strap is decent, but change it to draw the maximum out of its inherent visual appeal. And enjoy watching time pass.
