The Fortis Flieger F-43 Bicompax Petrol is a functional pilot's tool watch, iconic since 1987.

The Fortis Flieger combines the best quality materials, finest craftsmanship and well considered details. A solid brushed stainless steel case encapsulates and protects the beating heart.

The beating heart of this magnificent watch is the Swiss Made Automatic self-winding chronograph UW-51 movement, with a special unidirectionally winding rotor, and boasts 48 hours of power reserve.

The design of the watch has all the robustness of a tool watch, with a no-nonsense 43mm case design, made from stainless steel. Whenever pilots fly in a formation it is essentially important that all of them are precisely aligned. To do so Fortis designed the Synchroline, allowing for precise synchronization within a +/-5 second range. You will find a Brixtrac brushed ring around the outside of the dial at each minute marker. It’s designed to aid in legibility and gives the watch a tactical feel, while adding depth to the dial.

• We're an authorised dealer of all of our brands, unless otherwise noted. In this day and age there are also many 'grey market dealers' that compromise. What are the main benefits of buying from an authorised dealer with regard to the warranty?

  5 year warranty

  We offer a 5 year warranty on all Fortis watches. This covers all mechanical malfunction arising from parts failure and/or assembly errors. Excluded are parts that by their nature may not last 5 years, like batteries and leather straps, damage/problems caused by improper use and wear and tear. We stand behind the brands that we sell and the quality that they offer.
  Some of our brands also offer an international warranty, which will also apply.

  Service and parts

  In the unfortunate event of a problem with your watch, you simply need to send it to us (or take it to another dealer if the brand offers an international warranty). We have access to the official service centers, where only original parts are used and the watchmakers are qualified and experienced with your type of watch. Not every watch movement is the same, so it's best if it's handled by people who know what they are doing.
  After your 5 year warranty has expired we are able to offer service in most cases.
