The lume is insanely bright and holds its glow for a while. It’s so bright that I can see it in a dark room over 30ft away! The blue/black dial is truly gradient because of the metallic finish (color shifting in the day light). From one angle it looks bright blue and if I shift my wrist it’s dark navy blue (almost black). I know it’s not exactly the R**** (D-Blue) gradient dial from the ‘James Cameron’ Deepsea but, it’s definitely eye catching and I’m very happy with it. The ceramic bezel clicks smoothly and there is very little back play. Its less then 0.5mm off 12 o’clock but, I have no plan to ever go saturation diving so it’s irrelevant to me if it’s not 100% precise. The Miyota 9015 I already knew was a workhorse and it’s what I come to expect. Also, seems slightly more quiet than my other oversized diver’s watch with the same movement. The 316L stainless steel case, crown, and screw down back all are solid. The bracelet is good but, not great and the clasp definitely leaves something to be desired but, I already knew that before I purchased so I can’t really complain about it. Also, I didn’t realize the sapphire crystal would be a ‘top hat’/‘box’ design. At first I thought something was wrong with it because my other oversized diver’s sapphire crystal is almost flush to its ceramic bezel. However, after I did some research I realize that ‘box’ design actually is a safety feature to protect the bezel, so all is well. In summary, it’s a very well made, eye catching beast of watch and I’ve already gotten several compliments while wearing it!
