Yeah, I know, there is this price conversation and I had to remember Seiko that I don't necessary love the price...and I also know that there is no sapphire, no screw down crown, no ceramic bezel insert and only 100M WR....but what a VIBE!
What I like:
The iconic dial,
The Hardlex,
The aluminum bezel,
The 38/12mm (only!) case,
which wears even smaller,
The lume.
What I don't like:
The crown is not easy to operate.
The bracelet......
Overall a lovely watch with a lot of Seiko's DNA, very happy with it!

The Seiko 5 SRPK29K1 is a great, versatile sports watch with a modest contemporary size.
It's a great watch and a true all-rounder with 100m water resistance, unidirectional bezel and a comfortable 38mm case (excluding crown) and a modest 44.2mm lug to lug distance. The dial is protected by Hardlex crystal and the case and bracelet are both stainless steel.
Under the hood is the mechanical (automatic) Seiko in-house Cal. 4R36 movement, with a day and date indicator at 3 o'clock.
