I have been watching this amazing watch for sometime and finally decided to take purchase. The quality is awesome and size is perfect. The leather band has a nice color and good quality. This watch has a very nice stainless steel polish and comes in perfect size. Don’t think twice and I promise you will love Roamer watch as it comes in a high quality. Cheers
Have been lurking around this watch for quite some time - and finally pulled the trigger during the Black Friday sale. If that watch also caught your eye, do yourself a favour and watch the according YouTube video: The (I assume rendered) product shot does not even come close to capturing the look of this watch and especially the details of the silver dial. The hands are also much legible in reality than the photo suggests, with the blue second hand being a nice touch.
The watch case in polished stainless steel is flawless and seems well made. It is pleasantly small in height, which makes the watch slide smoothly under shirt cuffs. It wears comfortably. In case you want to give the movement a little push by handwinding it by a few turns, be aware that the very small crown in not that pleasant to handle.
Running about 7 seconds fast in 24 hours, the watch is not exactly stellar in terms of accuracy, but still perfectly reasonable.
Not exactly my cup of tea is the strap, though, but replacing that was my plan from the beginning anyway. The glossy, grey alligator print leather strap the watch comes with is a little too sturdy for my liking and since my wrist circumference is on the average to small side (about 17.5 to 18 cm), the deployant clasp somehow doesn't sit right on the underside of the wrist. The "Roamer" rivet on the strap also might appeal to some, but not to me. But since my taste and my wrist are nothing the watch is to blame for, it still deserves 5 stars...;)
The photo shows the watch with a replacement strap in dark brown vintage leather, which I chose to "dress down" the watch a bit for everyday use and which is exceptionally comfortable.
So, in a nutshell: If you need a stylish daily companion, which you can easily dress up or down to almost any occasion, seek no further and buy this Roamer!

The Roamer R-Matic II 956660-41-13-09 is a magnificent, stylish, Swiss Made mechanical (automatic) watch. Under the hood you'll find the reliable 28800bph STP 1-11 movement, which is similar to the ETA 2824. Of course the dial is protected by sapphire glass with an AR coating and there is a caseback window.
The R-Matic II is incredibly stylish and beautiful. It has a gorgeous dial and a very nice, comfortable strap with deployant clasp.
