First and foremost, i have rated this a 2 only because of SW's service, which has been excellent as usual. If this was only a review of the watch, it would have been lower at a 1.
The watch colour is unique and looks good, however only in direct light. Under lower lighting occasions the hands and hour markers tend to look faded against the background. The watch I received is obviously old and has probably been on the shelf with the manufacturer for an extended period of time because:
a) The glue had dried off on the cardboard box and it was falling apart. Aquatico now sends watches in a wooden box,
b) It was close to impossible to remove the collars and pins to adjust the bracelet (they had corroded in place) and it only worked with liberal spraying of WD40 and only with certain pins, and,
c) The crown pull-out action is quite mushy with no distinct clicks to denote crown position - difficult to know which position it is in.
Moreover, the bracelet is flimsy. The sides of the bracelet, the clasp and even the underside of the case (the unscrew slots) are pretty sharp in places and uncomfortable on the wrist - very poor finishing.
Bottom line .. the watch looks good in pictures but would be a poor buy at its price, even on sale, in my opinion. SW offers much better quality watches manufactured in Hong Kong at similar or lower prices.
