I love this watch, looks really great, especially for its price. The rubber strap is too long for people with small wrists so I changed it for a leather strap. The watch arrived well-packaged and the delivery was very quick.

The movement is nice and smooth, it is quite accurate gaining about 10 seconds per day. Very well built, no issues diving down to 50+ meters, keeps sand out and just looks super cool. I was torn between this Orient and a Tudor, really pleased that I chose this. Functional and tough, day/date is a great feature and the luminous dial and hand last very long over 8 hours and are clearly visible in the murky depths of my local coastline.

The Orient FAA02008D is the upgrade of the renown Orient Mako and Ray models. This gorgeous, reliable dive watch with an in-house Orient automatic movement differs from the previous iterations with a new movement (which can be hand wound and hacks) and a new cast. With the Mako and Ray models you had a separate button to set the day, with this watch it's simply operated with the crown. Also the lines of the watch have become a bit stronger.
The FAA02008D is a stylish watch that will be suitable for nearly any outfit and nearly every occasion. You can wear the watch during swimming (although it's not suited for air diving), but it will also look great with a suit or casual wear. It's a true all-rounder with a great design, great quality and a true mechanical in-house movement.
