Is there anything better than a blacked-out PVD watch? Great look and specs. At 38 mm, the perfect size for my 6.5-inch wrist. Not dive-level lume, but good field watch lume that's legible early in the morning. And the titanium case basically makes you forget you've got a watch on your wrist.
I decided to get this one because I was looking for a black watch. The Venture line from BOLDR is fantastic. I've got several variants, so buying this one was an easy decision.
It's light, easy, and secure to wear on the included NATO strap. The dial is highly readable in light, the lume is powerful, and the combination of a black dial with green lume still gives it a great twist.
I wish it would not have the date complication, though. First of all, I don't need it and would rather have a simpler dial. I'm also not too fond of the position at 4 o'clock, and the readability of the date is poor too. (BOLDR very clearly put effort into integrating the date complication into the watch; It's not some afterthought.)
Having the date is not too bad, and not having it would not make the watch cheaper, so it's still a 5/5 for me.
