The Formex AirField Desert Sand Leather is a phenomenal, stylish, well-made and extremely comfortable high-end Swiss Made watch. Formex is renowned for their quality, finishing level but most of all by keeping a wide focus on all elements of the watch. Not just the looks, but also the comfort and each and every detail has been thought of and reconsidered. With the Field they have embraced the design you'd expect, but refined in the best way they could. It features a lightweight grade 2 Titanium case, that has been hardened, bringing the surface hardness up from 145 vickers to 900 vickers. This case is very well sized at 40mm diameter (excluding crown), a mere 10.6mm thickness and 46.6mm lug to lug (vertical distance). To complement it well the watch comes on a leather strap with the great proprietary carbon composite clasp that allows for 5 micro steps over 7mm while on the wrist (just in case your wrist swells up a little when it's warm). 

It doesn't end there, as the watch features a Swiss Made Sellita SW200-2 mechanical (automatic) movement with an impressive 65 hours of power reserve and all the things you'd expect from a high-end watch such as a sapphire crystal with an AR coating and 150 meter water resistance.

• We're an authorised dealer of all of our brands, unless otherwise noted. In this day and age there are also many 'grey market dealers' that compromise. What are the main benefits of buying from an authorised dealer with regard to the warranty?

  3 year warranty

  We offer a 3 year warranty on Formex watches. This covers all mechanical malfunction arising from parts failure and/or assembly errors. Excluded are parts that by their nature may not last 3 years, like batteries and leather straps, damage/problems caused by improper use and wear and tear. We stand behind the brands that we sell and the quality that they offer.
  Some of our brands also offer an international warranty, which will also apply.

  Service and parts

  In the unfortunate event of a problem with your watch, you simply need to send it to us (or take it to another dealer if the brand offers an international warranty). We have access to the official service centers, where only original parts are used and the watchmakers are qualified and experienced with your type of watch. Not every watch movement is the same, so it's best if it's handled by people who know what they are doing.
  After your 2 years warranty has expired we are able to offer service in most cases.
