This is my first automatic watch and the details are beautiful.
I chose to go with an white islander strap, and i think it looks much better like this.

I wanted a specific type of watch with the GMT that two traveller GMT, stainless steel, sapphire glass, bidirectional rotating bezel, luminous hands, clean, contrast. Watch face.

I shortlisted this Islander 238. When I bought it from serious watches for first time, the experience of purchasing it, getting it, unboxing it, thoughtful high quality screwdriver which was packed with it along with a beautiful Dutch delicacy, excellent customer care made me come here to write a review. I'm not an easy person to please. And I am more than expected. Impressed. Both the watch, the Serious company customer care have earned their loyalty from me.

Beautiful watch! Dial pattern is so nice how to plays under light, bezel has unidirectional clicks and feels solid. Great hex shaped bracelet with solid end links and a sturdy clasp. Domed sapphire, screw down crown, 200m WR and a really nice engraved lighthouse on caseback. The team at Islander designed this one very well, and the team at SeriousWatches were amazing in their personalised service and were highly responsive, friendly, and professional all around.

Ik was al een tijdje op zoek naar een flightmaster, maar toen Islander zijn model uitbracht was ik overtuigd. Nu ik het in handen heb, aangenaam uurwerk, draagt ook lekker, zelfs al is het niet het dunste horloge. Wel gemiste kans om geen quick adapt op de clasp te voorzien. Denk dat ik wel een andere Islander zou aan de collectie durven toevoegen.

Really happy with this Islander GMT so far. Great build quality, excellent legibility, and the GMT function is genuinely useful for flying. It feels far more premium than its price suggests, wears comfortably all day, and has a lot of character without trying too hard. Easy watch to recommend.

Great watch, love the dial and serious watches delivered as expected with great communication. This is my third watch with them and already have two more in my cart.

Quality general = very good
Bezel = very good
Dial = very good
Bracelet = good
Adjustment wishes:
- Little lesser weight would be great and just a bit thinner.
- Crown little smaller or other design or a crown protection
- Clasp little shorter and islander logo would look better then text. Sides perhaps polished like the link sides.
