The watch is excellent value for money. The build quality is very good, this thing feels absolutely solid, built like a tank. The bezel has no business being this good at this price point, absolutely zero back play, or any play for that matter and perfect alignment. I think the semi-skeletal hands help to make this watch look unique and give it it's own character but it's the dial that really steals the show. The pattern and different shades of colours are really beautiful. 100% recommended.

I wanted a "traveler" GMT, and oh boy, did I get one! The watch is the perfect size for me, and the bracelet with its adjustment system is very practical. I was pleasantly surprised by the accuracy, and I highly recommend this watch! It’s a great choice for anyone who travels a lot or is simply looking for a brilliant complication. One minor downside is that the GMT hand isn't entirely red, but you get used to it. Many thanks to the seller for the quick processing; FedEx, however, was a disappointment. I’d prefer my next watch to be delivered by a different carrier. Thanks again and all the best to SeriousWatches—until the next order.

There's plenty to say about this watch. Here are mine in no specific order:
° This is a white-dialed watch with EXCELLENT at-a-glance legibility.
° The dial is snow/paper white in color.
° The DAY-T complication is one-of-a-kind and very cool. It will add something unique to just about everyone's collection.
° All-brushed case will help keep the watch looking good for years to come.
° The lume is basic, but lasts through the night. You can read the time when you wake up in the morning in a dark room.

I received the watch nicely gift wrapped and packaged and loved the including letter and cookie, that was a nice touch. The watch is flawless and reached me in good condition. Am very impressed with the communication of your company as well. Will definitely buy another watch from you guy's/gal's in the future, highly recommend. Von der Bestellung, der Lieferung und der Verpackung her, alles perfekt. Die Uhr hat ein wunderschönes Zifferblatt mit einer super Tiefenwirkung. Die 3 Zeiger Einstellung auf 12 Uhr, sowie die Funktion der Lünette und das Einstellen des Datums, alles einwandfrei. Warum allerdings der
Hersteller des Uhrwerkes nicht benannt wird, finde ich etwas merkwürdig.

Why I chose this watch:
I was originally contemplating getting the original yet discontinued SKX007 but I am not going to pay 700-1000 for a used well-maintained watch that was originally at 200 Dollars. I am not a watch collector and I wanted the SKX007 primarily as the one watch you can go anywhere and do anything with. But at 700+ Euros would you actually wear an SKX007 without being afraid of scratching it? I don't think so.

Thanks to Islandwatches we get this watch that feels like a restomod of the SKX007 with many benefits. The measurements are all exactly the same making it compatible with SKX007 modding parts. Compared to the SKX007 it looks slightly more chic and refined and a bit less like a retro tool watch. It is significantly more scratch resistant with its ceramic bezel and saphire glas. The movement is better (and hackable). The watch is a bit heavy (180 gramms with the metal bracelet) but I guess that is the prize you have to pay if you want your watch to be sturdy and robust during daily use.

Customer Experience: This watch came to me in Germany within 24 hours via standard Fedex delivery from this store which is great. When I received the watch, it was already set to the correct Berlin time and running accurately, which makes me think it was checked by seriouswatches before going out for delivery. Mine is running at -5 s/d which is just great!

Size and looks: According to internet experts this watch wears smaller than other watches. I have a 7,67 inch (195mm) wrist and I don't like wearing a Pizza Plate on my wrist. I am in love with the look but you can decide for yourself (see picture attached).

All in all: I can recommend this watch.

Excellent all round service

Great buying experience from Serious Watches. They were excellent communicators, shipped my order next day, and offered a great price. I couldn't be happier and highly recommend them. I also appreciated the handwritten thank you note I received in the box!

Great fit and finish! The blue on the dial is nice and muted, good match with the bezel. However, the dial and bezel is quite busy, but that is the way these watches are - you have to like that style to enjoy this watch. The bracelet is good, but the clasp would be even better with on the fly adjustment. But overall, a cool watch, and no complaints:)
