The watch is on another level for me, it is the 2nd OceanX that i have ordered, and it is a wonderful piece. So easy to adjust the bracelet with the screw in links. Solid, great quality and looks stunning in my opinion! Will definitely purchase from Serious Watches again!!
Right off the bat you can’t help but appreciate what a brilliant homage to the Sea Dweller Deepsea this is. The case profile is near on a one to one clone of the original, all with a fraction of the price. This particular model has a ceramic bezel insert, although unlike a lot of the others this one is not lumed, likely due to the orange coloured indices. The watch is heavy weighing in at around 215g yet the bracelet, which is well constructed and a little narrower, sits quite well on the wrist. Rated for 1000m of water resistance, it has the features you’d expect from a deep diver. A flat sapphire crystal, solid end links, screw-down crown and a helium escape valve ensure this watch is ready for mixed gas diving if that’s your thing. The lume looks to be BGW 9, not necessarily the brightest but it lasts a decent time, longer than C3 and it shouldn’t disappoint. The bezel itself has nicely formed knurling on the edges, perhaps not quite as pronounced as the actual Deepsea, but certainly enough to allow for a good grip. The bezel action is a nicely accented 120 click, unidirectional, and with little back play or excess movement to speak of.
Inside, the watch holds a Seiko NH35 movement, not necessarily the move prestigious movement, but reliable as all hell. In a watch of this calibre, a swiss made ETA movement would have gone nicely but no complaints, they all tell the time.
This is my 2nd order from Serious Watches and can't say enough how satisfy I'am ! Best buying experience online ! This watch is awesome how comfortable in turn it is big and heavy, but the case dimensions is perfect how lies on my wrist. I have many watches in size 43-45mm, I love that size range but this one and the other OceanX (damascus) modell is the most comfortable of all. Very high quality feeling in every aspect especially in this price category. I'am sure this was not my last buying from Serious Watches :) Thank you !

Under the hood you will find an automatic, Japanese SII NH35 movement. The glass is 4.5mm thick scratch resistant sapphire glass. The impressive 1000 meter water resistance of this watch is possible due to the helium valve, that you can see on the side of the case. The uni-directional 120 clicks bezel has a ceramic insert (which is very scratch resistant). All these qualities ensure to the Sharkmaster is able to handle nearly any situation.
The difference between the SMS1081 and this SMS1081B can be found in the dial. The new SMS1081B has a shiny black dial, whereas the dial on the SMS1081 is matt black.
