The Seiko Prospex PADI HBB002K1 60th Anniversary Limited Edition is one of Seiko's many iconic diving watches that have garnered enough enthusiasm to be warranted a nickname. The Turtle nickname is easily explained when you squint a little bit. You can see the resemblance but also that it is actually a very comfortable, logical shape for a watch. The  HBB002K1 has a substantial wrist presence with its 45mm diameter, while also having a very reasonable 47.7mm lug to lug distance. This ensures it will also fit a smaller wrist than you'd expect, especially with the clever crown placement at 4 o'clock.

Under the hood is the Seiko Cal. 4R36, which features both a day and a date indicator at 3 o'clock. 

This model is part of the 'PADI' line, that Seiko produces in collaboration with the Professional Association of Diving Instructors. The details show in the distinctive name on the bottom half of the gorgias dial.

Of course the watch is also very capable of dealing with the ocean, due to the 200m water resistance, LumiBrite lume, sapphire glass, ceramic bezel insert and the very legible design. 

Within the realm of diving watches the Turtle offers a unique proposition, while also taking the practical aspects into account. A definite race winner, despite the nickname!

  3 year warranty

  Seiko watches come with a 3 year warranty. This covers all mechanical malfunction arising from parts failure and/or assembly errors. Excluded are parts that by their nature may not last 3 years, like batteries and leather straps, damage/problems caused by improper use and wear and tear. We stand behind the brands that we sell and the quality that they offer.
  Some of our brands also offer an international warranty, which will also apply.

  Service and parts

  In the unfortunate event of a problem with your watch, you simply need to send it to us (or take it to another dealer if the brand offers an international warranty). We have access to the official service centers, where only original parts are used and the watchmakers are qualified and experienced with your type of watch. Not every watch movement is the same, so it's best if it's handled by people who know what they are doing.
  After your 2 years warranty has expired we are able to offer service in most cases.
